The Galway Festival Is Here

Racing was at our local track at Limerick on Thursday where Sherco Sports ran very respectable to finish 3rd following on form  her recent win.  She may head to Galway next weekend.
With the Festival beginning at Galway on Monday, the yard has a number of entries.  Dawerann and Enchanted Forest head the entries for Monday, however they hold other  possible engagements throughout the week.  They will be expected to put up a good performance whatever day they do run, both being consistent types.
Mr Cracker holds an entry for the feature race on Wednesday  The Galway Plate.  He too holds an entry in a conditions chase on Tuesday, and having ran well with top weight the last day in the Midlands National, we are hopeful of a big  run from him.
Recent Wexford winner Our Man Zebo looks to  be a very exciting prospect and he will run in the Arthur Guinness Projects Novice Hurdle on Thursday.
Holeinthewall Bar holds  an entry for a handicap hurdle on Wednesday, however he is liable for ballot, and so will get another entry for the weekend.  He is owned locally  by the well known Galway publican, Stevie Fahy, whos pub – the hole in the wall –  is undoubtedly the place to  be during race week!  No doubt he would be a very popular runner and even more popular winner next week!!
